My idle FP is about 25-30 and my peak pressure is about 55-60, my car idles smooth and runs great ...BUT .. my A/F gauge shows way rich at an idle, and the gas fumes are really strong out the exhaust ... the fuel pressure is adjusted to the lowest it will go, if I back the adjustment screw on my AEM fpr all the way out, it won't go any lower than what it is now, same thing with my Cartech unit, hex screw all the way out and fp won't go any lower than what it is now...
BTW, I am running the largest orifice in the AEM fpr.
Anybody have any suggestions ...
Any response would be greatly appreciated.

Try using a fuel controller like the V-afc or Hypertech to lean out your idle and fine tune your set-up. I saw a new post on ENDYN's BBS where T.O.O. stated that he runs his fuel pressure as low as 18psi if that helps any? How old is your cat and is your ignition up to par? Isn't the ecu in closed loop at idle and the air/fuel should bounce back and forth rich - lean?? Good luck and keep us informed.

I am running a hi flo cat that is only a couple of months old ... I just replaced the cap and rotor and put a set of plugs in last week ... I must not be running in closed loop at idle because the A/F gauge stays steady rich, it does not bounce back and forth at idle .. it does bounce back and forth when crusing though ... and then goes to the steady rich side of stoich when hard on the throttle ... could a bad or misadjusted TPS sensor be causing my open loop condition at idle ? ... I'll check it this weekend ..
Thanks for the suggestion ....

When I first start my car, until it warms up, my a/f guage will show rich at idle. But, as soon as it warms up it will fluctutate like 90teg said.

yea for reals....
if you're talking about your idle after you just started the car...hell ya it's gonna be rich....
but if u're talking about after crusing for at least 10 minutes and coming to a stop to idle....then get yourself a fuel controller as was mentioned already.
